Celebrate Niagara is owned and operated by me, Natalie Lowe, and a core team of people that I have assembled over the years in the region who have proven to be talented, resourceful and reliable. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years – I attended Ryerson University for Hospitality and I completed my CMM 5 years ago. I have lived in Niagara for 13 years and the last 4 years I have been a DMC.My background includes hotels, starting in operations and then sales – from running a guest ranch in Alberta to working at corporate head quarters for an international chain in Toronto and then moving to Niagara to be in sales first at Vintage Hotels and then leading the sales team at the Casino in Niagara Falls and opening the new Casino. Hospitality just seems to run in my family, as out of my 3 sisters - one is a hotel manager, currently in Shanghai and one is a travel agent in Alberta - and my mom's big dream in life was to retire from their companies and be a tour guide, while my dad drove the bus! Unfortunately for my parents, they did not live to see that dream - but it is a great reminder that I am living someone's dream job. I use a roster of people with special talents to work on the specific needs you may have - rather than keeping general purpose staff - it is my own version of the "just in time" process. The people who will work with me on your program run the gamut from wine aficionados to bike guides to bilingual hosts – and we keep a database of these professionals and their strengths. Our aim is to pair their strengths with your needs – and we tend toward professional people rather than professional tour guides. Why? We find most corporate groups want someone who is sensitive to their wants and needs over and above the imparting of information.
It would be remiss of me not to mention our famous Ruby Pirie, the finest example of hospitality in any travel professional I have ever known - as well as Mirjam, Jennifer, Doryne, John and the many other fine folks who work with me to provide you with a great experience. Running a destination management company in Niagara suits me perfectly as it marries two of my loves – Niagara and helping people. I get to work with a variety of people from around the Greater Toronto Area, Canada and the world – helping them to explore and experience a region that I have adopted and love. It is my intention and my desire that you will discover a sense of belonging and community here during your visit - that you and your group will feel cared for and valued during the process of working with us, and that you will take home many happy memories. This is what i do for a living, and life is good - so call, or email us and let's talk about your next great adventure in Niagara - we hope to have the privilege of being your partner on that adventure!
