We’re lucky here in Niagara Falls because we have so many things to do to embrace winter, especially during the Holidays. Not only are the Falls especially beautiful once they have been frosted with a coat of snow, but there are tons of events happening throughout the city to keep you busy while you visit!
Bundle up the family and be fascinated by the spectacular lighting displays found throughout the city as you drive through the Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights. You can even ring in 2019 among these displays in Queen Victoria Park for the free NYE Concert, featuring former Guess Who frontman, Burton Cummings.
The nightly illumination of the Falls is always a sight to see - but especially during the winter. If you happen to be there on Fridays until the end of January, you'll be graced with an amazing fireworks show too (weather depending).
