The Niagara River Recreation Trail, located parallel to the Niagara River, travels some 53 kilometres (33 miles) between these two great lakes and the communities of Fort Erie and Niagara on the Lake passing through Niagara Falls.

This trail is part of a larger trail system that includes The Trans Canada Trail, The Greater Niagara Circle Route and the Greenbelt Route.

I’ve cycled and walked some sections of the three trails in Niagara but yet have to start on The Trans Canada Trail.

If you’re looking for a bit of a challenge this summer why not try one of the trails to begin.
