Niagara Parks’ beloved outdoor Canada Day celebration returns to Queen Victoria Park, featuring live music from local artists, family-friendly activities, performers and an outdoor licensed barbeque area on the front lawn of Queen Victoria Place, throughout the day. The celebrations continue into the evening with The Darcys taking the Queen Victoria Place Stage at 8 p.m., as part of the new Niagara Stage concert series, followed by Canada Day fireworks over the Falls at 10 p.m. (weather-permitting).

Namaste Niagara

The best way to guarantee a Canada Day to remember? Start the day with an outdoor meditation session amidst the powerful ebb and flow of the Niagara River at Niagara Parks’ White Water Walk, followed by a delicious brunch at Whirlpool Restaurant. Hiking at the Niagara Glen

Daily guided hiking tours of the Niagara Glen begin on July 1 and run through August, inviting guests to learn more about the fascinating geology and unique plant and animal life at the Glen. A new trail classification system adopted at the site with new trail markings makes it even easier for hikers of all skill levels to experience the renowned trails that wind through the nature area overlooking the Niagara River. Guided hiking tours can be booked at the Niagara Glen Nature Centre.

Debuting on the Queen Victoria Place stage overlooking the Canadian Horseshoe Falls on Saturday, June 30, the new concert series draws from the extensive list of diverse Canadian artists who have been awarded, recognized and listed by the prestigious Polaris Music Prize.

Night Lights: Journey Behind the Falls After Dark

Guests will enjoy exclusive access to this natural wonder at the base of the Horseshoe Falls at night for the ultimate view of the Falls illumination and fireworks displays. Access to Night Lights is included with regular admission to Journey Behind the Falls, beginning at 9:30 p.m. 

WildPlay’s MistRider Night-Time Zipline to the Falls

For the first time ever, guests can now zipline next to Niagara Falls at night to enjoy the illumination of the Falls from an entirely new perspective. A thrilling twist on WildPlay’s popular MistRider Zipline to the Falls, this new night-time zipline experience is available seven days a week through to September 3 and then Fridays and Saturdays until the end of October.

GO Niagara Seasonal Train Service

One round-trip ticket on the GO Niagara Seasonal Train includes GO Train service to and from Niagara and two-day access to WEGO, the hop-on hop-off bus service in Niagara Falls.
