Date Night Route - OPG Winter Festival of Lights
A Winter Date-Night Experience
Millions of sparkling lights and time to reconnect with loved ones makes the OPG Winter Festival of Lights the perfect date night experience. Grab a hot drink, your trendiest toque and mittens and head out for a night under the lights (and stars). This 3 km route takes you through larger than life displays and spectacular views of the Falls.
- Start your route by parking at the Skylon Tower
- If date night includes dinner, the Skylon Tower's Revolving Dining Room is set to impress with the most amazing views of the Falls, Festival and city... and culinary delights you'll dream about later.

- Head down Murray Street and explore all the new displays at Queen Victoria Park.
- Walking towards the Falls you'll discover the 40-foot Light Tunnel in front of Queen Victoria Park Restaurant for epic selfies.
- Looking up towards the Illumination Tower you'll find Rudolph and his friend Prancer (or is it Dancer, Blitzen or Comet?)

- Cross the street to take in the magical views of the Falls Illumination as you stroll towards Table Rock Welcome Centre
- At Table Rock, go on a bucket list adventure with Journey Behind the Falls.
- If you aren't already feeling joyous, the giant JOY sign you'll see after crossing the bridge towards the Falls Incline will set the mood for the rest of the evening.

- Take the Falls Incline up to Fallsview Blvd (available on weekends) and warm up with a nightcap at one of the many restaurants. If you're looking for a stylish yet comfortable atmosphere, head to Milestones at Marriott on the Falls. If you're looking for that Friday-feeling try TGI Friday's at Embassy Suites or enjoy a 'cantina-style bar' at Taco N Tequila. All three are a short walk back to the Skylon Tower. And if you didn't dine at the top of the tower, zip up to the Observation Tower to end your evening with the incredible views!
Make it a staycation to enjoy the rest and relaxation, and mid-morning brunch. The Floral Showhouse and Bird Kingdom are wonderful daytime experience to escape the cold and get a little tropical.
