Date Night Route - OPG Winter Festival of Lights
Millions of sparkling lights and time to reconnect with loved ones makes the OPG Winter Festival of Lights the perfect date night experience. Grab a hot drink, your trendiest toque and mittens and head out for a night under the lights (and stars). This 3 km route takes you through larger than life displays and spectacular views of the Falls.
- Start your route by parking at the Skylon Tower
- Head down Murray Street towards Queen Victoria Place to see all the new displays, including a unicorn, giant gingerbread house and the magical pathway of illuminated trees. Don't miss the chance to take a photo with the heart sculpture created by local artisans!
- Walking towards the Falls, take in views of the Illuminated Falls as you pass by the Nikola Tesla monument along an illuminated path to Table Rock Centre. Here you'll find a gift photo frame for epic selfies.
- Continue along the path towards the new Niagara Parks Power Station, where you'll walk through a 60ft light tunnel.
- After experiencing the Festival lights take a short-cut back to Fallsview Blvd on the Falls Incline Railway at Table Rock Centre. You'll get even more wonderful views of the Illuminated Falls on the way up.
Make it a new tradition to stay overnight to enjoy the rest and relaxation, and daytime views of the Falls, too.
