I’d never heard of the word ETSY until I read about it in the newspaper today. An ETSY event is where you buy and sell handmade or vintage items. Forty Niagara buyers and sellers will be showcasing their wares on Saturday, September 26th at Heartland Forest in Niagara Falls from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Launched in 2005, ETSY is an online marketplace for handmade items.

Here are a few of the products that will be found at the event, furniture, original artwork, aromatic products, and essential oils.

Heartland Forest at 8215 Heartland Forest Drive in Niagara Falls is a non-profit outdoor nature centre. Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking.

Also this Saturday is the 64th Annual Meridian Grande Parade in nearby St. Catharines. The parade in downtown St. Catharines begins at 11 a.m. It is part of the annual Niagara Wine Festival. This spectacular parade attracts about 100,000. Be there early to get one of the best spots.
