Niagara Parks will be offering an exclusive Fireworks Dinner Series at its Elements on the Falls Restaurant during the upcoming Cascades of Fire International Fireworks Competition, taking place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 9 to 18.
The Dinner Series will feature a three-course prix fixe menu inspired by Niagara Parks’ culinary commitment to the local food and drink movement, as showcased by Elements’ Executive Chef, Elbert Wiersema. The specially curated menu starts with a choice from five appetizer dishes, including the Elements Antipasto, a charcuterie platter with locally sourced artisan cheeses and cured meats and smoked Manitoulin Island rainbow trout cake with sweet pea compote and a Riga Farms beet oil drizzle.
The main course will again be a choice of five delicious entrées, from grilled Ontario veal and beef tenderloin with black and king oyster mushrooms and a merlot shallot sauce, to herb crusted chicken supreme with fingerling potatoes, roasted acorn squash and a black garlic jus. The meal will be rounded out by a mouth watering dessert selection with options such as a decadent chocolate explosion lava cake and a tiramisu cheesecake.
As you enjoy your incredible locally sourced meal within Elements’ panoramic glass dining room, you will have the best seat in the house to experience an incredible 18-minute fireworks display, as part of the Cascades of Fire fireworks competition. Each night over the six-night series, features a fireworks display presented by teams from countries around the world, including China, Finland, Brazil, Vietnam, Italy and a finale by team Canada.
The prix fixe meal, which also includes guest access to Falls Parking Lot, located directly across from the Horseshoe Falls, will be $75 per person. All firework shows will begin at 9 p.m. and guests will be able to reserve their table based on which team’s show they would like to view.
