Take in a cannon and musket demonstration while learning about the fascinating history of Canada’s bloodiest battlefield at Old Fort Erie. Choose your own adventure at the Niagara Glen by selecting one of nine marked hiking trails that wind through the spectacular nature area overlooking the raging Niagara River below. Cycle along the Niagara River Recreation Trail, which stretches over 54 kilometres from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario and has recently been enhanced with over 40 new bike racks, 12 new bike repair stations, water refill stations, and more. Or enjoy Niagara Falls from an entirely new vantage point while soaring through the Great Gorge on WildPlay’s MistRider Zipline to the Falls. Niagara Parks’ prestigious Whirlpool Golf Course will be offering a promotional Father’s Day rate of $69.00 (including cart, plus taxes), for rounds booked before 3 p.m.
Legends on the Niagara will be offering a special Father’s Day promotion that features a round of golf, including cart, use of the practice range and a steak BBQ with all the fixings, for $80.00 plus tax for rounds booked between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Birds of Prey Event & Hiking Adventures at the Niagara Glen
Meet a variety of majestic birds of prey up close at the Niagara Glen. This free event, presented by the Canadian Raptor Conservancy, will take place on June 16 and June 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with three live raptor shows featuring birds of prey, scheduled each day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Don’t forget to stop in and explore the new Nature Exchange located inside the Nature Centre during your visit. Guided hiking tours of the Niagara Glen led by Niagara Parks naturalists depart from the Nature Centre daily at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring your sunscreen and refillable water bottles.
Return of the Queenston Heights Sunday Afternoon Concert Series
Set in the bandshell in beautiful Queenston Heights Park, enjoy free Sunday afternoon concerts that bring the sound of big band, Dixie, blues and more. Concerts run each Sunday from June 17 through September 2 from 2 to 4 p.m.
