The Niagara Parks Commission announced recently that work is progressing well on the new zipline attraction which will be located in the Niagara Gorge at the foot of Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls.

On a recent bike ride to the Grand View Marketplace at the foot of Clifton Hill I could see where workers atop an observation tower were building the platform for one end of the zipline. Once completed the 670 metre, 2,200-foot long zipline will take visitors to the top of the abandoned historic Ontario Power Generating Station near the base of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

It’s anticipated to open this summer and I can’t wait to try out this new exciting attraction.
