The Rotary Sunrise Club of Niagara Falls is expecting 20,000 people to attend the 11th annual Ribfest that takes place this weekend from Friday to Sunday at the Niagara Square parking lot on Montrose Road.
Parking, admission and entertainment are free.
There will be a daily 50-50 draw, a kid’s area with workshops on Saturday and Sunday.
Money raised during this event goes back to the community.
The following Sunday afternoon June 21 starting at 1:30 Niagara Falls City Historian Sherman Zavitz will take people on a free historic 90 minute walking tour of the Victoria Avenue, Simcoe Street and Epworth Circle. The starting point is at the intersection of Victoria and Simcoe.
