General Manager, Mory DiMaurizio of Hornblower Niagara Cruises is quoted as saying in our local Niagara Falls Review that, “our first season turned out to exceed our expectation, it was a fantastic season with no major incidents or concerns”.

An estimated 1.6 million people took a ride on one of Hornblower’s two catamarans. The season for Hornblower began on May 15th, 2014 and warmer weather allowed them to operate until November 30th.This is the longest any sightseeing vessel has operated below the falls.

Hornblower was awarded a 30-year, $500-million contract by The Niagara Parks Commission in 2012, winning out over the Maid of the Mist, which had been operating tours from the Canadian side of the falls to the base of the falls from 1846
