I read in the local Niagara Falls Review this morning those who derive their pay from tourism say they’ve had the best summer in years with sales up as much as 20%.The increase is attributed to more Canadians staying in Canada because of the depreciated Canadian dollar in the U.S. Also, more Americans are travelling to Niagara Falls because their dollar as I write this blog is worth about 25 cents more.

Having been in the tourist business (I guess I still am) for the past 50 years I predict the best is yet to come. The fall months bring a different crowd, seniors. The kids are back in school and the seniors like to enjoy the falls on their own.

Whatever the season Niagara Falls has something to offer everyone.
