The 34th annual Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls Ontario was brighter than ever with 1.33 million people taking in the festival from November 19, 2016 until January 31st of this year. Tina Myers, the events Executive Director said new records for donations were also set.

A third-party market research company estimated an economic impact in excess of $62 million!

And plans are in the works to make it even bigger and better for the 35th edition with the Ontario Ministry of Tourism announcing they’ll provide a $100,000 grant for expanded programming.

Congratulations to all the staff and volunteers for a job well done.
