New 5,000 Seat Theatre is taking Shape

Drive south along Stanley Avenue and you’ll come across this new theatre being built near the intersection of Murray Street in the heart of the Fallsview Tourist area. You’ll see two towering cranes helping to put together 4,000 tonnes of steel to form the skeleton of this new theatre.

The $130 million-dollar complex has been under construction since last summer. The casino is next to the Hilton Fallsview Hotel. There will be an enclosed walkway from the theatre to the Hilton Fallsview and Fallsview Casino. It’s expected to open in June of 2019 and replace the Niagara Fallsview Casino’s 1,500-seat Avalon Ballroom.
