Niagara’s, “Street of Fun”, Clifton Hill is in for big changes.

It was recently announced an older hotel, the 185-room Comfort Inn which opened in the 1950’s, will be torn down and replaced with something new. Other attractions and restaurants owned by one of Niagara Falls major hospitality families- The Oakes Family on the south side of the street will be renovated and replaced with newer entertainment facilities. Plans include expanding the SkyWheel plaza. A go cart/coaster track attraction is also planned along Victoria Avenue at the top of the hill.

There is no date yet as to when these multi-million dollar changes will be finished.

This investment comes on the wings of the Chinese investment that I mentioned in a blog a few days ago.

There seems to always be something new happening in Niagara Falls.
