Kids Celebrate! - the new lively exhibition at the Niagara Falls History Museum helps children and their families discover the importance and diversity of celebrations in Canada. The exhibition provides them with a stimulating exploration of the celebrations that bring generations together, and gives children a sense of belonging and caring for others. Visitors can explore twelve celebrations through the seasons - from large groups of people gathering for day-long activities, to special moments in children’s everyday lives. These associated activities provide young visitors with opportunities to be creative, solve problems, and take on new roles.
This travelling exhibition is on loan from the Canadian Museum of History until April 14, 2019.
Clark Bernat, Manager of the museum said, “there is plenty of interaction with artifacts, props, audiovisual elements and take-home activities and the children learn more about the special occasions in their daily lives.”
The museum is open daily, except Mondays, at 10 a.m.
