A new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between The Niagara Parks Commission and Brock University will be signed by Niagara Parks Chair, Janice Thomson and Brock University Interim Provost and Vice-President, Academic Tom Dunk, during Niagara Parks’ public Commission meeting on Friday, April 20.

The new MOU builds on the previous work between Niagara Parks and Brock University and is designed to support and enhance the stewardship and conservation practices of both organizations. The agreement will leverage the expertise, resources and capabilities of Niagara Parks and Brock, while providing tangible results and new educational/research opportunities for Brock University students and faculty, in collaboration with Niagara Parks staff.

Other participants to include Reegan McCullough, Niagara Parks CEO, Steve Barnhart, Niagara Parks Senior Director of Parks, Planning and Properties, Dr. Ingrid Makus, Dean of Social Sciences at Brock University and Dr. Ryan Plummer, the Director of the Environmental Sustainability Research Centre at Brock University.
