The travelling exhibition “Echoes in Ice-Finding Franklin’s Ship” opened on January 25th at the Niagara Falls History Museum located at 5810 Ferry Street in Niagara Falls.

On display are some artifacts that tell of the ill-fated journey to the Artic of Sir John Franklin. The exhibit includes new photos and videos of Franklin’s recently discovered ship HMS Terror which vanished during its 1845 voyage. The ship, along with HMS Erebus which also went missing around the same time, was found in Canada’s North, Terror Bay, Nunavut.

Admission is free with museum entry - $5.00 adults, $4.00 students. Metered street parking is available nearby.

The exhibition continues until April 22.
