The Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse has continued to enchant visitors to Niagara Falls for over 70 years, highlighting the creativity and talent of Niagara Parks’ horticultural staff through seasonally rotating floral displays filled with breathtaking flowers, plants and greenery, many of which are grown in-house. In order to continue to deliver exceptional experiences for its guests at this classic location, Niagara Parks will be temporarily closing the Floral Showhouse beginning on Monday, October 15 to undertake routine maintenance.
The Floral Showhouse will be closed from Monday, October 15 to Sunday, October 21, to accommodate a range of maintenance activities, which will include painting and the replacement of several windows. The renovations will enhance the brightness and overall aesthetics of the facility, so that future guests may continue to enjoy this Niagara Parks attraction. During the closure, Adventure Pass holders will be able to substitute their admission to the Floral Showhouse for passes to the White Water Walk attraction.
On Monday, October 22, the Floral Showhouse will reopen with its renowned Chrysanthemum Show, a seasonal favourite that features several different varieties of the fall flower, including spectacular spiral chrysanthemum trees. Incorporating the colour of the year, ultra violet, the design of this year’s Chrysanthemum Show is a modern twist on a traditional autumn scene.
The Floral Showhouse is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost of admission is $5.00 for adults (13+) and $3.75 for children (6-12 years). Children 5 and under are free.
