I took a sunset cruise of the lower Niagara River to the mouth of Lake Ontario last night and at the same time enjoyed a lovely dinner aboard the Niagara River Belle. The occasion was a Volunteer Appreciation Night sponsored by our local Niagara Falls TV Cogeco. I’ve been a volunteer there for the past 30 years.
The weather was perfect. The highlight of the three hour cruise was seeing the sunset over the water and enjoying the unique beauty of the tree lined Niagara River from the deck of the boat.
