Niagara’s Showcase of Chefs
If you like great food and want to support a worthy cause then read on.
The Showcase of Chefs event that has been so popular in the past returns this year on Sunday, April 6 from 11:30 until 3 pm at Edgewaters Restaurant in Queen Victoria Park opposite the American Falls.
Many of Niagara’s excellent chefs have come together to create an irresistible menu that highlights the various culinary skills found in Niagara. VQA wines and beer tastings, along with decadent desserts help to round out this experience.
The other nice thing about this event is part of the proceeds from the all inclusive $65.00 ticket, which includes free parking (a $15.00 value) will directly support The Niagara Parks Commission’s tree planting initiative with Trees Ontario. The goal of this partnership is to plant 10,000 trees along the Niagara Parkway by the end of 2015.A very ambitious endeavor.
