On Thursday evening at Fireman’s Park on Mountain Road in Niagara Falls you can hear the blues band, Soul Train perform free beginning at 7 p.m. There’s plenty of free parking.

You’ll find free live entertainment on Friday and Sunday evening beginning at 8 p.m. under the Illumination Tower in Queen Victoria Park near the falls. Free fireworks displays follow on both nights starting at 10 p.m.

On Sunday afternoon between 2 and 4 p.m. the first of a series of concert bands perform at the bandshell in Queenston Heights Park. These Sunday afternoon performances take place every Sunday until September 4th.

The Niagara Falls Rotary Club holds their 12th annual Ribfest on June 17, 18 and 19th at Niagara Square.www.niagarafallsrotary.com.

Popular Niagara Falls Historian Sherman Zavitz (his photograph is attached) will conduct a free historic tour of Ferry Street on Sunday starting at 1:30 p.m. You must register for this event by calling 905-358-5082.

Motorcycle Ride for Dad takes place Saturday, June 18th. The ride begins at 9 a.m.in Niagara on the Lake and continues to Niagara Falls. This is an event to raise funds for research against prostate cancer. 905-371-5251.

I’m sure I’ve probably missed a few other happenings but these should keep you from getting bored this weekend.
