I have to admit I hadn’t been to the Journey Behind the Falls attraction at the brink of Table Rock for the past few years. But this weekend, with my daughter Jennifer, we took a student from China, who was staying with my daughter, on a tour of Niagara Falls. It was a beautiful day and we decided to take this popular attraction. After getting our tickets we took an elevator to the base of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Once at the bottom we took a tunnel to portals that opened up directly behind the falls. As we stood behind the falls one fifth of the world’s fresh water came crashing down in front of us!

Following our tunneling we took in another Niagara Falls attraction at Table Rock called The Fury. This is where we learned the history of the falls. Standing in the mist on a platform that trembled we were treated to a 14 minute presentation with sound and incredible images on a 360 degree screen of how the falls began.

Both attractions stay open year round.

What an exciting visit it was for all of us.

You don’t have to be a visitor to enjoy the many attractions Niagara has to offer.
