Family Fun Route - OPG Winter Festival of Lights
The OPG Winter Festival of Lights is an enchanting experience for the young and young at heart! If you are looking to bundle up and enjoy a walk through the Festival, this 3 km route is a great way to see the new displays and annual favourites (and it's stroller friendly).
- Start your route by parking on Clifton Hill.
- Make your way down the hill and into Oakes Garden Theatre. Stroll through the park with views of the Illuminated Falls and cross the street for a photo with the JOY sign at Grandview Plaza (you can't miss it).
- From there, you'll see Spanish Moss Trees and the Niagara Parks Rainbow along the Niagara Parkway.
- Keep walking towards the Falls and you'll discover a forest full of reindeer next to the pond.
- Just passed the deer display is the historic Niagara Parks Police Station and the Angel displays.
- Continue your walk along the parkway through the illuminated path of trees at Queen Victoria Park and across the street to Queen Victoria Place where you'll have plenty to explore
- Gingerbread House
- NEW Gingerbread Family
- NEW Candy Canes
- Misty Kids Village
- In the Arms of Love - an incredible heart sculputure created by local artisans, the Intergalactic Artist Collective
- And thousands of lights!
- From Queen Victoria Place, head up Murray Street to see the Fairy Tale Castle and Unicorn
- Complete the loop by walking along the new pathway from the Fallsview Casino to the Skylon Tower and across Robinson Street back to Clifton Hill.
- Continue the fun with a ride on the Niagara SkyWheel on Clifton Hill and enjoy our favourite late-night snack the oh-so-Canadian, Beavertail!
Make it a family fun staycation with overnight accommodations and a second day of exploring even more of the exciting activities in Niagara Falls.
