I just read in our local paper that The Niagara Parks Commission has said the Amorphophallus Titanium,or titan arum flower which is on display at the Floral Showhouse is set to bloom sometime this week. This massive bell-shaped flower (it’s also known for its unique small-it stinks)can grow up to three metres in height. The flowers are exceedingly rare to see. In 2012 I saw two blooms open. It was quite a sight.

If you make it to this greenhouse you’ll also be rewarded with their spring floral show.
