I’ve been involved with the Niagara Falls tourism industry for about 60 years and I can honestly say I’ve never seen the crowds so large as this past Victoria Day weekend. One sure indicator of how busy it was this past weekend is to look at the garbage containers in and around Clifton Hill and Queen Victoria Park near the falls. When I took an early morning drive today through the park and Clifton Hill I saw crews cleaning up the over flowing containers. A big round of applause to these people who always keep Niagara Falls clean.

For those in the tourism business Victoria Day usually is the indicator of what the summer ahead will be like.

Hang on to your hat, it looks like this is going to be a very busy 2018.
