Niagara Parks is proud to present the 75th anniversary Chrysanthemum Show at the Floral Showhouse. The show officially opened Thanksgiving weekend on Saturday, October 9.
The iconic Chrysanthemum Show is Niagara Parks’ longest-running exhibit at the Floral Showhouse, dating back to its opening day on November 4, 1946. For this year’s show, Niagara Parks’ talented horticulture team has designed a stunning display that celebrates shape and form, introducing new styles of floral displays including a stunning Chrysanthemum tree form.
Comprising over 1,350 mums in 35 different varieties, guests will find unique colour schemes set against more traditional fall colours. The centre house will be a nod to our traditions, with bursts of pink and orange hued blooms, while the winding pathways of the north house will be accented by brightly coloured mums in the shades of yellow, purple and orange, highlighted by a watercourse of Blue Star Ferns.
