Made up of a collective group on seasoned Niagara musicians, Eli & The Straw Man, is partnering with the Huntington Society of Canada to raise awareness about Huntington disease. The disease is a fatal hereditary disease that affects 1 in 7000 Canadians, the symptoms of which are like having Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS, all at once.
The band formed in 2014 and has since gained a reputation for their charismatic live performances and nostalgic, yet modern sound.
The ten track of their debut LP, Light the World, call on elements of pop, folk, and soul, feature acoustic and electric instrumentation accented by horns, keys, and multi-layered vocal harmonies.
