It’s practically criminal for us to make you laugh so hard you pee your pants but we’ll take our chances. At least it’s for a great cause! Enjoy the comedic talents of some of Canada’s top funny people.
The 9th annual All Star show at the Greg Frewin Theatre is in memory of comedian, Rodney Pentland, who grew up in Niagara Falls, performed on the first Komedy for Kidneys Benefit Show and passed away in 2009 from complications related to kidney disease. Throughout his long battle with the disease, Rodney continued to perform and make people laugh…that’s what was important to him and it’s important to us to continue that courageous legacy. As always the proceeds for the evening go to the OneFoundation for Niagara Health System in support of Dialysis Care in Niagara.
The two-hour show includes feature headliner, Glen ‘That Canadian Guy’ Foster. Glen has been one of the top comedians in Canada for over thirty years, and he is still going strong, having recently made his eighth televised appearance at the prestigious "Just for Laughs" Montreal Comedy Festival. The show also features a number of top and up-and-coming Canadian comics including Mark Matthews as Host & Emcee; rising stars Jason Allen from London and Marc Calaguiro from Niagara Falls; and some of the best Canada has to offer in Darren Frost, Johnny Gardhouse, Mini Holmes, and Chris Quigley
Doors open at 7pm with cash bar and silent auction; 8:30pm show starts. Vegas Style dinner theatre with tables of (8) eight.
