Niagara Falls Tourism is searching for a Brochure Distribution Associate, a skilled professional who provides a range of support services, including brochure distribution, for the tourism office. This position provides support through continually implementing and redefining processes that result in effective, efficient delivery and warehouse operations, providing both client, member and team satisfaction.


    • Required Education
      • Successful completion of High School certification
      • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
      • Valid Canadian Passport
      • Criminal record check may be required
      • Eligible to work in Canada
    • Experience
      • Minimum of 10 years of Commercial Driving experience
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience tourism industry preferred
      • Fork Lift Operator Certification preferred
    • Skill, Knowledge and Abilities
      • Advanced organizational ability and time management skills.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
      • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and capable of doing several functions at once with deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision
      • Effective communication skills – written, verbal and body language
      • Ability to work independently and work well with others with the goal of consensus building within NFT’s membership framework
      • Maintain open lines of communication with the Executive Director and NFT staff
      • Maintain proper inventory controls and records for brochure distribution
    • Reasoning Ability
      • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of basic and practical problems.
      • Above average diplomatic skills
      • Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information a must
      • Ability to exercise professionalism, diplomacy and tact

    • Working Conditions
      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, push/pull, or balance weight for extended periods of time. The employee must frequently lift, move, and/or carry up 50 pounds by hand or may use dolly type equipment to deliver product to customers. Employee will regularly drive a delivery truck and must be able to enter and exit the truck throughout the day. Employee may be required to drive for long periods of time
      • Work will be performed normally within a traditional work week. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as necessary is needed on occasion
      • Ability to drive through assigned route in all kinds of weather and road conditions safely
      • Ability to work in a warehouse environment in all types of weather
      • Knowledge of safe work practices under WSIB and Health and Safety Act
