What will I be doing?

The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. The duties and responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to; data entry, Team Member relations, as well as other administrative duties as required or as assigned by Management. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant should be fluent in all Microsoft Office programs and generally familiar and comfortable with computers as well as all other applicable office equipment. This role requires both the ability to work independently, and with other Team Members, completing a wide variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the department. This position operates on a full-time schedule from 9a.m.-5p.m., Monday to Friday.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role
Knowledge of the functions of Human Resources is an asset

Skills

Master level proficiency working with Microsoft Excel
Superb communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
Ample organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple project deadlines
Excellent time management skills

Requirements

A personable and approachable individual
Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)
Physical Demands

Ability to sit for long periods of time
