The Security Service Ambassador will monitor all incoming packages, purse and bags brought into Niagara Parks Facilities to ensure guests and staff are protected from possible harmful items. Will provide Niagara Parks onsite safety services to ensure safety and security of visitors and employees.

Experience & Qualifications

Successful completion of a diploma in Protection, Security and Investigation, Police Foundations or equivalent experience. Must possess a valid Security Guard license for the Province of Ontario and a valid Ontario ā€œGā€ Driver's License. Must possess a valid First Aid & CPR certification which includes Level C and AED accreditations. Niagara Parks requires incumbent to maintain current registration in both these programs. Proven security experience in high volume tourism locations. Ability to work safely and fully engage in a culture of safety and customer service. Available to work shift work hours, including weekends to support a 7-day operation. Ability to bend, stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to work long and irregular hours. Ability to adjust to very busy and very slow periods during work shift. Ability to remain professional, reliable and credible in emergency situations. Bilingualism or multi languages will be considered an asset. A successful Police Information Check is required for the selected candidate.
