April 25, 2016 by George Bailey
If you like daffodils Niagara Falls is now the place to visit. You’ll find millions of colourful white and yellow daffodils in Queen Victoria Park near the falls. In addition to these daffodils you’ll soon see millions of tulips (Originally donated by Holland for Canada’s assistance during World War 11).
Around mid-May you can’t help smelling spring at the Centennial Lilac Garden near the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge near the Floral Clock about 10 kilometres north of the falls along the lower Niagara Parkway .That’s when more than 1,200 aromatic lilac bushes start to bloom. The face of the Floral Clock will also be planted with approximately 19,000 colourful plants.
