This year’s free New Year's Eve party in the park at Niagara Falls, Canada was again a roaring success. The show featuring Australian singer Keith Urban and according to most reports drew upwards of 65,000 people. The live show was also televised to millions of people across Canada by Global TV.
The morning of the event I visited the stage site at 8 a.m. and was surprised to see there were already a small crowd of 100 or so fans lined up close to the stage. I saw a couple of ladies holding a sign that said they’d travelled 2200 kilometres to be at Canada’s largest New Year's Eve party. Now that’s dedication.
Here are a few photos I took of the early arrivals.
