Our 2nd Annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail returns to Clifton Hill! Bring the kids for a free Halloween adventure featuring mystery stops, sweet treats and family fun. The trail is open to children 12 and under. Pick up your Treat Tracker Card at Skiparrr’s, then match the five symbols on your card to the signs at each mystery stop. Find all five stops and collect a treat at each one!

Humberstone Ranch’s Canadian Thanksgiving Farm Visit offers both locals and visitors a chance to celebrate the season in a place that feels like home — even if you're far from your own.

Whether you’re from the Niagara area or visiting the region, this event invites you to pause, reconnect, and rediscover the spirit of Thanksgiving in Canada’s autumn heartland. Bring your family, bring your friends — come ready for joy, laughter, and just a little bit of hands-on farm magic.

Join us for our Halloween Lanterns Workshop, a hands-on event where kids with the help of parents/ guardians can craft their very own spooky lanterns—perfect for decorating your home or lighting the way on Halloween night.

Choose from a variety of festive designs, including classic jack-o’-lanterns, creepy bats, and even Frankenstein’s monster! Lanterns come in two sizes:
•15" Lantern – $25
•10" Lantern – $20

Discover Science Show! Introduce your little scientists to the main parts of science: Chemistry, Physics & Biology. Exciting experiments drawn from across the spectrum of science show kids that although there are all kinds of science, all science is about asking questions about the world around us.

After the show, explore the Museum galleries and complete a scavenger hunt.

Pre-Registration Required. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All attendees (including adults) must have a ticket.

Venture out in the night to the fort to experience the traditions of Halloween. Join us for a chilling evening at Old Fort Erie and dare to explore the site of Canada’s bloodiest battlefield by candlelight. 

Tours are approximately 30 minutes in duration and suitable for all ages. Guests are encouraged to come dressed for the weather, as parts of the tour will take place outside. Snacks and hot and cold beverages will be available for purchase at the Old Fort Erie Welcome Centre. Tickets are $15.00 Adult / $9.50 Child (3-12 years).

Spread your wings and unleash your creativity at our Bird Clock Workshop! This hands-on experience will let your young one's imagination take flight as they assemble and paint an adorable wooden bird clock with the help of a parent or guardian.

Help your young ones assemble their clock using glue, paint and twine with easy-to-follow guidance from expert woodworkers. The clock mechanics are installed through a pre-drilled hole. There's no cutting or power tools required!

 In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the binational Niagara Falls Illumination Board, a special light and laser show synchronized to music will be presented on Niagara Falls on the evenings of September 12, 13 and 14. The displays will take place three times each night at 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. for 15 minutes, with a dazzling fireworks display sponsored by the Niagara Falls Hotel Association at 10 p.m. prior to the final show of each evening.

Boo at the Zoo returns for a spooky, fun filled weekend with over 100 local vendors handing out treats. A special day including a costume contest, Halloween themed activities, Free pumpkin painting, seasonal photo ops and more throughout the park! Join us in October to trick or treat your way through the park at our most anticipated event of the year, BOO AT THE ZOO!
