Come together in downtown St. Catharines for a free Community Bike Parade & Market on Friday, May 15, 2026! This high-energy community event is part of the Niagara Children’s Festival and celebrates creativity, connection, and active play for all ages.

Families are encouraged to bring their own bikes—or pick up a newly donated one on-site (Youth sizes available only, supplies are limited)—then join in decorating, parading, and celebrating together. The event begins with bike decorating, followed by a joyful community bike ride “parade” through downtown, and wraps up with a lively dance party for all participants.

This free event also features a bustling Community Market and a wide range of family-friendly activities. Attendees can enjoy free snacks from Chef & Bub Gourmet Ice Pops and The Red Chip Wagon, browse essential items from OPIRG Brock’s Free Store, and connect with CAA Niagara and local organizations offering safety information, bike and safety equipment fittings, and more. With activities, music, and interactive experiences throughout the event, the Community Bike Parade & Market creates a welcoming space for families to gather, play, and celebrate together.
