Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan, formed in 2012. It consists of the Kiszka brothers: twins Josh (vocals) and Jake (guitar), Sam (bass guitar, keyboards), and Danny Wagner (drums). They were signed to Lava Records in March 2017 and a month later released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising. Their debut single, “Highway Tune”, topped the Billboard US Mainstream Rock and Active Rock stations in September 2017 for four weeks in a row. The group released two EPs followed by their first full-length record, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, in 2018. The band followed that up with the sweeping, alluring, often ecstatic LP, The Battle at Garden’s Gate, in 2021. Hit songs from that album include “Heat Above” and “Light My Love”. The band’s heavy rock sound is influenced by the work of Led Zeppelin and many other rock and blues acts, with lead vocalist Josh Kiszka having a voice that has been compared to Robert Plant’s “husky howl”.

Their debut album, From the Fires, clinched the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album at the 61st Grammy Awards, making their mark on the rock music scene. Greta Van Fleet's live shows have garnered praise for their high energy and stage presence, solidifying their reputation as an exhilarating live act.
