The Atrium St. Catharines Public Library (Central Branch)
Join Carousel Players and the Niagara Children’s Festival for a morning of stories, crafts and activities for children. Listen to two visiting children’s authors read from their books, and create your own puppet craft at the drop-in creation station.
When: Saturday, May 9 | 10am - 1pm
Location: The Atrium, St. Catharines Public Library (Central Branch)
Author Readings + Activity: 10am and 11:15am
Creation Station: 10:45am and 12pm
Join Kari-Lynn Winters for a high-energy Double-Up Day presentation! Here, children will explore doubling through movement, counting, and playful problem-solving, while building language, vocabulary, and comprehension through storytelling and sound. As the fun grows wilder, young learners discover that one small, special thing matters most—love, laughter, and reading together.
Readings and activities will also take place with children's author Joyce Grant and illustrator Jan Dolby!
