A community that plants together, grows together! Join us at Legends on the Niagara for a day of environmental stewardship and community with Niagara Parks' annual Community Tree Planting.

This family-friendly event offers you the chance to directly support a local reforestation project and learn about the benefits of trees, shade and green urban spaces. Community Tree Planting Day is made possible thanks to the generous donations received through the Niagara Parks Foundation and the Toonies for Trees program. The event directly supports Niagara Parks’ goal of planting 5,000 trees annually to achieve 35% canopy cover by 2028.

The event is held rain or shine, and participants are asked to bring a shovel, gardening gloves and a lot of energy! Niagara Parks will supply trees, mulch, technical support, extra shovels, gloves and snacks.

Space is limited for this free event and pre-registration is required.
