Although our American friends celebrate Thanksgiving on a completely different month (November) and often a completely different day (Thursday), we often join in the celebration as well. Every year a firework show lofts and sparkles over the Canadian Horseshoe Falls around 10pm.
We've also decided to join in on the shopping thrill of the subsequent infamous Black Friday! There are many deals to be had on the Canadian side of the border and what's even better is your dollar goes much further.
It is often though that Canadians hold their Thanksgiving in October due to an earlier harvest; whatever the reason we can still serve up the traditional turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie you’re looking for. Why not try an American Thanksgiving weekend on the Canadian side?
