The Niagara Symphony Orchestra (NSO) has been an arts leader and cultural treasure in the Niagara Region for over 75 years. Established in 1948 as the St. Catharines Civic Orchestra, the organization has grown from a small community ensemble into a fully professional orchestra of over 50 musicians. Under the baton of Music Director Bradley Thachuk, the NSO features internationally acclaimed musicians and exhilarating orchestral performances!

Open daily 9 am - 5 pm, the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre is the most popular place to watch ships as they navigate one of the world's engineering marvels - the Welland Canal. Observe these giants from the observation deck or from the 2nd floor Lock View Lounge.
