13th Street Winery is committed to the creation of excellent wines which are an authentic expression of our local terroir and serve as the foundation for the exceptional wine country experience we offer. Each vintage, 100% of the wines produced by 13th Street Winery are made from fruit sourced exclusively in the Niagara Peninsula with 85% or more coming from our own vineyards. Our very first vines were planted at the 13th Street Vineyard in 1976. In the years since, we’ve planted Gamay Noir, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Gris and now have amassed more than 40 acres of estate vineyards in the VQA Creek Shores appellation of Niagara.

Part of the vision for 13th Street Winery is to provide our guests with a unique experience that stimulates all the senses, not just taste. With this in mind we designed the grounds surrounding the winery to feature a permanent exhibit of spectacular sculptures. We currently have ten outdoor sculptures on display and we invite our guests to take a moment ...perhaps with a glass of wine in hand... and explore our art collection featuring the works of Karoly Veress, Floyd Elzinga, Dan Solomon and Ilan Averbuch.

Throughout the year, 13th Street Winery also hosts seasonal wine, food and cultural events to showcase the extraordinary talents of top chefs, artists and musicians from the region.
Plans are underway for additions to our art collection and for construction of additional production and hospitality facilities.

Conveniently located across from the retail wine store and tasting bar is the 13th Bakery and Marketplace, featuring seasonal farm fresh local fruits, vegetables and flowers, baked goods (made on-site) and an assortment of jams, jellies and preserves made from local produce. Enjoy one of Whitty Farm's famous butter tarts or fruit tarts while you stroll the winery grounds or take home a fresh pie featuring Niagara fruit. Gourmet pizzas and other goodies are available to take home or enjoy during your visit.
Throughout the year a variety of gourmet food items such as ice wine jellies, salsa, chutneys, tapenades, cook books and utensils plus much more are available. In the summer months we also offer a selection of artisan cheeses, breads and homemade soups (many gluten-free!).
