Rosewood is a family-run winery, meadery and apiary in Lincoln, on Niagara’s Beamsville Bench—a working agricultural estate where wine, bees, food and hospitality come together.
Our story begins with a family beekeeping tradition dating to 1932. Today, that legacy lives alongside our Niagara vineyards through honest, low-intervention wines, innovative meads and local honey that reflect the seasons and landscape around us. In the cellar, wild fermentation, minimal intervention and a thoughtful mix of traditional and modern winemaking allow each vintage to tell its own story. In the apiary, generations of beekeeping knowledge shape everything from our raw honey to our modern expressions of mead.
For visitors, one of the best ways to experience Rosewood is at the table. Led by Estate Chef Peter Pietruniak, our Chef’s Estate Lunch is a seasonal three-course experience from our scratch kitchen, thoughtfully paired with Rosewood wines and shaped by what is growing around us. Throughout the growing season, produce harvested from our Estate Garden feeds directly into the kitchen, alongside ingredients sourced from independent Niagara and Southern Ontario farmers.
The garden, vineyard, apiary and cellar are not separate parts of Rosewood—they are part of the same conversation. That connection guides our food program, from seasonal plates and wine pairings to the things we preserve, ferment and make throughout the year.
Our Estate Kitchen also produces a rotating collection of things to taste and take home, including pickles, ferments, preserves, charcuterie, honey-based pantry goods and other small-batch kitchen projects. Alongside them, our Bottle Shop brings together Rosewood wines, meads, raw and specialty honeys, pantry and kitchen products, candles and a carefully curated collection of estate goods. Visitors can also shop Rosewood wines and estate products online.
Guests looking to experience the estate can reserve a Rosewood experience, including seasonal tastings, Mead Flights, winery tours, Archive Tastings and our Chef’s Estate Lunch.
From May through September, guests can go even deeper with the Rosewood Bee Experience — a rare opportunity to suit up with one of our beekeepers, step inside a working hive at the Estate Apiary and learn about the craft, history and ecology of beekeeping.
Rosewood is a place to slow down and experience Niagara through what we grow, make and share. Come for a glass of wine; stay for lunch, walk the vineyard, meet the bees, discover mead, and take a little of the estate home with you.
Honest Wine. Innovative Mead. Local Honey.
