If you have a sense of adventure, love fresh food, spectacular gardens, and have a thirst for history then read on. Niagara Falls has lots of the above and many of them, free.
Begin your summer trip to Niagara by visiting roadside fruit and vegetable stands that open in early June along the lower Niagara Parkway. Savor summers first crop of asparagus and carrots right from the farmer’s field. If you have a sweet tooth (who doesn’t) you can pick the first crop of Niagara’s own cherries or strawberries. The Niagara Parkway is the perfect place to have your first summer picnic.
Romance is always in the air at Niagara Falls but especially during June. If you’ve just, “tied the knot” pick up a free Honeymoon Certificate signed by the mayor.
There’s an event to attend just about any day in Niagara during summer!
