Fat Rabbit is a Michelin Recommended restaurant (2024 & 2025) located in St. Catharines, Ontario. 

We're shaped by the agricultural richness of the region, surrounded by orchards, vineyards, and farms that influence how and what we cook. Our focus is seasonal cooking, whole animal butchery, and warm, down-to-earth hospitality. 

Our menus change with what local farmers and producers are actually growing and raising well. We use animals’ noses to tails, treat vegetables with the same level of attention, and grow our own microgreens in-house. Whole animal butchery is a core part of our kitchen, guiding everything from fresh cuts and sausages to charcuterie and long-cured meats. A strong zero-waste approach informs us how we cook, plan, and run the kitchen day to day. 

The food is generous, balanced, and built on solid technique, but always meant to be enjoyed, not overanalyzed. The restaurant is intimate, with an open kitchen that keeps the energy connected between the cooks and the dining room. Hospitality runs front to back, with a team that is deeply knowledgeable while keeping service warm, relaxed, and unfussy. The experience is casual and comfortable, whether you are stopping in for lunch, a quick glass and a snack, or settling in for a long dinner. At its core, Fat Rabbit is a neighbourhood restaurant where good ingredients, careful cooking, and a genuine love for hospitality come together in a way that feels elevated but familiar, shaped as much by the people in the room as by what is on the plate.
