Irish Music Niagara
Irish Music Niagara is a newly established non-profit organization with the key objective of sharing happiness through Irish music and creativity.
We facilitate the development of a local music scene through our weekly FOLK āNā IRISH traditional music session and other events throughout the year, culminating in an annual summer event: Niagara Irish Festival - taking place at Firemen's Park, 2275 Dorchester Road, Niagara Falls on August 23rd and 24th, 2024.
Our primary focus is on building positive connections through music within our local community of Niagara Falls. We support local performers, artisans and businesses first, while actively welcoming all visitors who are interested in Irish and folk music. Our ticket prices and vendor fees are fair and accessible & children under 12 enter free. We encourage practices such as sustainable packaging, water conservation and sustainable transport to our festival. Our local community is directly involved in planning and running our non-profit festival ā we have over 150 volunteers! We proudly celebrate Irish culture, traditions and heritage through traditional music, dance, storytelling and workshops. We believe this is central to supporting sustainable, regenerative tourism in Niagara Falls.
What is our brand essence? Our guiding principle above all else is that Irish Music Niagara is AUTHENTIC, IRISH, FUN
