After undergoing major upgrades the 53-metre-tall Niagara SkyWheel is once more operational. Canada’s largest observation wheel found in Niagara Falls, Canada had been closed since mid-March of last year. Plans are underway to install an independent LED lighting system in the hub domes of the Ferris Wheel. The SkyWheel opened in 2006 and is owned and operated by HOCO Limited, a Harry Oakes company.
This company is planning to launch several new attractions on Clifton Hill within the next few months including the Niagara Speedway, Zombie Attack 6D and an elevated go-cart track. This track will spiral up about 12 metres and near the end of the course riders will travel down a long hill, not unlike a roller-coaster. The go-cart track will be a first in Canada.
Stay tuned for more news on these exciting attractions.
