If you want to visit all that Niagara Falls has to offer and avoid paying parking fees, the WEGO bus system is the answer. This system operated by Niagara Falls Transit and The Niagara Parks Commission and has been in operation since August 2012. It's proven to be a real hit with millions of visitors.
One fee allows you to get off and on a WEGO bus that travels various routes throughout Niagara Falls. Fees to use the WEGO varies depending on the time of the year. For example, for a 24-hour pass, during the summer months 5 and under are free, 6 to 12 $4.00 and 13 and over $7.00. A 48-hour pass will cost 6 to 12-year old’s $8.00 and 13 and over $11.50. There are three routes fanning out to various sections of the city, a blue, red and green line.
A round trip ride to Niagara-on-the- Lake along the beautiful Niagara Parkway aboard a WEGO for those 6 to 12 years costs $6.00 and 13 and over $10.00.
Tickets can be purchased at kiosks along the various routes.
